Privacy Policy
Effective Date: January 1, 2026 · Last Updated: July 20, 2026
This Privacy Policy ("Policy") describes how Corbivo LLC ("Corbivo," "we," "us," or "our") collects, uses, discloses, retains, and protects information about visitors, homeowners, and account holders ("you") who use our website at https://www.corbivo.com, our mobile and web applications, and related services (collectively, the "Services"). This Policy applies to information processed in connection with the Services within the United States.
Corbivo is a home management platform that helps homeowners document, maintain, organize, monitor, and protect their homes, including through AI-powered home inventory, appliance documentation, maintenance reminders, document storage, weather alerts, disaster preparedness, and TitleVault™ home title monitoring. Because certain features depend on confirming that you are the person you claim to be and that you are associated with the property you are managing, we require identity verification as described below.
1. Summary of Key Points
- We require identity verification. To create or maintain certain accounts and to enroll in TitleVault™, you must complete an identity verification process powered by our third-party vendor, Didit.
- Biometric processing occurs at our vendor, not at Corbivo. Government ID images, selfie images, facial recognition templates, and liveness data are collected and stored by Didit. Corbivo does not receive or store those items.
- Corbivo stores a minimal result set. From the verification, Corbivo stores only your verification status (passed or failed), a verification reference identifier, your full legal name, and your date of birth.
- We never sell biometric information and never use it for advertising.
- You have privacy rights, including rights to access, correct, and delete information, subject to legal exceptions described below.
2. Information We Collect
2.1 Information You Provide Directly
- Account information: name, email address, password, mailing address, and property/home details you enter.
- Home management content: appliance records, inventory items, uploaded photos and videos, documents, warranties, receipts, and maintenance information.
- TitleVault™ information: for title monitoring, we collect your legal name, date of birth, property address, and Social Security Number. Your SSN is transmitted for verification only and is not stored by Corbivo.
- Payment information: processed by our payment processor; Corbivo does not store full card numbers.
- Communications: messages you send to support and survey responses.
2.2 Identity Verification and Government ID Information
When you complete identity verification, our verification vendor Didit collects and processes government-issued identification (such as a driver license or passport image), a selfie image, and related data required to confirm your identity. This information is collected directly by Didit through its verification interface and is stored by Didit, not by Corbivo. Corbivo receives only the limited result data described in Section 2.5.
2.3 Biometric Information
The identity verification process involves biometric processing performed by Didit, including facial recognition, facial matching (comparing your selfie to your government ID), and liveness detection (confirming a live person is present). For purposes of applicable state biometric privacy laws, this may include "biometric identifiers" and "biometric information" (for example, a scan of face geometry). Corbivo does not collect, receive, or store facial templates, facial geometry scans, selfies, government ID images, or liveness recordings. These items are collected and stored by Didit as our processor. See our Biometric Information Privacy Policy for details.
2.4 Sensitive Personal Information
Certain information we or our vendor process may be considered "sensitive personal information" under California and other state laws, including government identifiers, Social Security Numbers, and biometric information used for identification purposes. We process such information only to perform identity verification, enable TitleVault™ monitoring, prevent fraud, secure accounts, and maintain platform trust — and not to infer characteristics about you. We do not use or disclose sensitive personal information for purposes other than those permitted under applicable law.
2.5 Verification Result Information Stored by Corbivo
From the verification process, Corbivo stores only the following:
- Verification status (Passed / Failed);
- Verification reference identifier;
- Full legal name; and
- Date of birth.
Corbivo does not store government ID images, selfies, facial recognition templates, biometric identifiers, liveness recordings, passport images, or driver license images.
2.6 Information Collected Automatically
- Device and usage data: IP address, device identifiers, browser type, operating system, pages viewed, and interactions.
- Cookies and similar technologies: as described in Section 8.
- Location data: approximate location derived from IP address, and, for weather and disaster-preparedness features, location you provide.
3. How We Use Information
- Provide, operate, maintain, and improve the Services.
- Verify your identity and confirm eligibility to use verified features, including TitleVault™.
- Prevent fraud, secure accounts, and maintain trust and safety on the platform.
- Send maintenance reminders, weather and disaster-preparedness alerts, and title-monitoring notifications.
- Process payments and manage subscriptions.
- Respond to support requests and communicate with you about the Services.
- Comply with legal obligations and enforce our Terms of Service.
We do not use biometric information for advertising, and we do not sell biometric information. We do not use verification data to build advertising profiles.
4. Third-Party Processors and Disclosures
4.1 Didit (Identity Verification)
We use Didit as our identity verification processor. Didit collects and stores government ID images, selfie images, facial recognition templates, liveness information, and verification artifacts and audit information, and returns to Corbivo only the limited result data described in Section 2.5. Didit processes this information on our behalf and under contract, and retains data in accordance with its published retention policy and its contractual obligations to us. For information about Didit's own practices, please review Didit's privacy policy.
4.2 TitleVault™ Monitoring and Insurance
TitleVault™ home title monitoring and the associated Identity Theft Insurance are provided through third-party partners. Title monitoring involves transmitting your identifying information to our monitoring provider to establish and maintain monitoring of public records associated with your property. The Identity Theft Insurance is underwritten and administered by American Bankers Insurance Company of Florida, an Assurant company. Coverage is subject to the terms, conditions, and exclusions in the applicable Summary of Benefits and Certificate of Insurance.
4.3 Other Service Providers
We share information with vendors that perform services for us, such as cloud hosting and database infrastructure, payment processing, email delivery, analytics, customer support, and AI processing used to generate home inventory from photos and video. These providers are authorized to use information only to perform services for us.
4.4 Legal, Safety, and Business Transfers
- Legal compliance: to comply with law, legal process, or lawful governmental requests.
- Protection: to protect the rights, property, or safety of Corbivo, our users, or others, and to detect and prevent fraud.
- Business transactions: in connection with a merger, acquisition, financing, or sale of assets, subject to this Policy.
We do not sell your personal information, and we do not "share" it for cross-context behavioral advertising as those terms are defined under California law.
5. Retention
Corbivo retains the verification result data it stores (status, reference identifier, legal name, date of birth) for as long as your account is active and as needed to maintain fraud-prevention records, resolve disputes, and comply with legal obligations, after which it is deleted or de-identified. Biometric and identity documents held by Didit are retained and destroyed according to Didit's retention schedule and our contractual instructions, as further described in our Biometric Retention & Destruction Policy. Other account and home-management content is retained while your account is active and for a reasonable period thereafter, subject to legal-hold exceptions.
6. Deletion
You may request deletion of your account and associated personal information. Upon a verified deletion request, Corbivo will delete or de-identify the verification result data it holds and will instruct Didit to delete the biometric and identity-document data it holds on our behalf, in each case subject to legal-hold, fraud-prevention, and recordkeeping exceptions permitted by law. Some information may persist in backups for a limited period before being overwritten. To submit a request, use the contact details in Section 13.
7. Your Privacy Rights
7.1 Rights Available to U.S. Residents
Depending on your state of residence, you may have rights to: (a) know and access the personal information we hold about you; (b) correct inaccurate information; (c) delete information; (d) obtain a portable copy; (e) opt out of sale, sharing, or targeted advertising (note: we do not sell or share personal information or use it for targeted advertising); and (f) limit the use of sensitive personal information. We will not discriminate against you for exercising these rights.
7.2 California Rights (CCPA/CPRA)
California residents have the rights described above, including the right to know the categories and specific pieces of personal information collected, the categories of sources, the business purposes for collection, and the categories of third parties to whom information is disclosed. California residents may also designate an authorized agent to make requests. We do not sell or share personal information as defined by the CCPA/CPRA.
7.3 Other State Rights
Residents of states with comprehensive privacy laws (including, as applicable, Virginia, Colorado, Connecticut, Utah, Texas, and others) may exercise the rights those laws provide. Where a law provides an appeal process for denied requests, we will honor it and describe how to appeal in our response.
7.4 How to Exercise Rights
Submit requests using the contact information in Section 13. We will verify your identity before fulfilling a request, using information already in our possession where possible, and will respond within the timeframes required by applicable law.
8. Cookies and Analytics
We use cookies and similar technologies to operate the Services, remember preferences, maintain sessions, and analyze usage. You can control cookies through your browser settings; disabling some cookies may affect functionality. Where required, we present a cookie-consent mechanism and honor recognized opt-out preference signals such as Global Privacy Control (GPC).
9. Security
We maintain administrative, technical, and physical safeguards designed to protect information, including encryption in transit, access controls, and least-privilege access to verification result data. By design, Corbivo minimizes risk by not storing biometric identifiers or identity-document images. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
10. Children
The Services are intended for adults 18 and older and are not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If we learn that we have collected such information, we will delete it.
11. Dispute Resolution
If you have a privacy concern, please contact us first so we can try to resolve it. Any disputes relating to this Policy are subject to the dispute-resolution and governing-law provisions in our Terms of Service, except where applicable law provides otherwise.
12. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Policy from time to time. We will post the updated Policy with a new "Last Updated" date and, where required, provide additional notice. Material changes affecting biometric or identity-verification practices will be communicated as required by applicable law and, where legally necessary, only take effect after we obtain any required consent.
